Looks like the same as me with the legal people making the difference. I can't stress how important this is to every one. But what are you now waiting for? If it is for them to appeal it would seem unlikely they would. But of course you can never be sure as they have legal experts also. But looks good at the moment. Does it?

Well i have been adjourned until 17 October. And a solicitor mate of mine has taken a government job. They deal with discrimination etc and have taken my case on free of charge. So i am represented the whole way now. Seems ironic that one government department is fighting another. And on top of that there is talk of anti discrimination getting involved too. Things are starting to go my way i think

WE all continue in the hope of seeing your last post (no pun intended), on it all, as i just saw your first post was 2 years ago. What an utter F(*&^%$ disgrace this system is. Hopefully good news in next few weeks. W who have suffered at the hands of these criminals really do need a class action to highlight it all.

I am just wondering would anyone have any internal documents from centrelink saying cancel everyone.? Or words to that effect? AAT 2 is on for me on the 27th feb. And any last minute tips? I have updated reports from doctors saying no change in years. I will be represented by a lawyer as well.It is set down for 3 hours seems over kill advice?

I think you've got it covered, Jimmy.
It's usual for a generous amount of time to be allocated. I wouldn't read anything into it.
Best wishes. We'll all be thinking of you.

Jimmy, good luck for the 27th. Three hours goes quickly. Mine was also three hours and only half the things that should have been covered were actually covered. Impairments - Discussion, Take Oath, Tribunal Member asks questions and then the Centrelink Lawyer asks questions. Is an impairment 20 points on one table. Have you done a Program of Support. Can you work 15 hours a week. Can you do a training activity in the next 2 years (re-skilled). If you do a training activity will you be able to work 15 hours a week independent of a Program of Support. Anyways, good luck, fingers and toes crossed for ya

Well my lawyer went to the AAT and they gave the option of oral argument or submittal. She chose submission in writing, given her 2 more weeks of preparation. The deputy in charge did raise the question of why am I being evaluated at only 6 months, standard type answer from C/L was that I asked for portability. It seems to me that many people are getting chucked off the system, it is so easy to probably give up. I think that's what they want. I just wish I could find some type of internal memo that says that. Anyway will let you all know at the end of the month what happens
