Hi, We have been on the DSP for 5 years (age 62). We originally come from Vict and have been house sitting for the last 5 years.
We are officially no fixed address in Vict.
We spend 90% of our time in NSW.
I want to change everything to NSW but am scared this change with centrelink will raise a red flag and cause us to be reassessed. Our disabilities are physical ones and we get care from Sydney hospitals.
Has anyone else changed States? If so, what happened? Any other comments are appreciated.
Thanks

I can't see it would gather any extra attention. It's only someone feeding info into a keyboard.

Thanks l think your worrying about nothing, l don't see how moving states would trigger a reassessment anymore then moving house or address in the same state would. If they reassessed everyone everytime they changed address the system couldn't cope.

I will just say one thing. We are supposed to report all change of circumstances and I would suggest that you make sure your notification of change of address includes an actual current letter. And I am not having a 'go' at you and the reason I say this is that I had my details changed on me by C/Link and in the end I had to threaten them with a charge of fraud to get it fixed. But they never 'fixed' my home address.
