Just a question regarding nova, I have been actively applying through seek with no luck and was told I should try Nova seeing I suffer from mental health issues. Are they able to place me into something with award wages or do they pay below that? Curious how it works?

Hi, sraightaced www.novaemployment.com.au/jobseekers/How much will you get paid? NOVA staff will look for a quality employment outcome that pays award wages and gives you a valued role within your work place. That means your job will: Pay you the same money as everyone else who does the same job Have the same conditions as every other worker Meet health and safety standards Help you feel part of the team Hope this helps, cheers Imajica.

Yeah, I've looked at this before and was outraged. But I did the sums again just to be sure. Fees claimed for a person on DES-ESS $ 890.00 for first 13 weeks $ 890.00 for second 13 weeks $ 890.00 for third 13 weeks $1540.00 for job placement $4400.00 for outcome $ 880.00 bonus for outcome Total for find work for one person on DES-ESS $9490.00 PLUS: Ongoing fees$440.00 for every instance of support on the job $35.00 an hour for on job support Not bad money for finding one job for one person.!!

That's totally irrational, possibly mentally unstable! So if I'm a DES-ESS client in a Welfare Card area, almost a year's benefit is paid to support spongers i.e. Indue & the Job Provider. But there's no money for higher payments for me........talk about jobs for the boys! Bear

Bear bearI said some time ago that if we could only get ourselves organized we could create our own DES/ESS and have some jobs for our own girls and boys.
