Just an update of my experience with Orbit Remit for those of us in the Philippines.
They will also send from Australia to the following Asian countries,
Bangladesh
Hong Kong
India
Indonesia
Malaysia
Nepal
Philippines
Sri Lanka
Vietnam
There is a swag of other countries, mainly in Europe and they do USA, but go to their website and check out Destinations. Unfortunately still not to Thailand.
Anyhow!
In the last couple of months I have had to find another money sender and decided to use Orbit Remit. I had already setup an account with them (with 100 points) and had used them once before but some time ago.
They now charge me $8 per transfer and they give close to the mark exchange rates.
If they are true to their word then they will charge me for only 9 out of 10 transfers and then I am only paying on average $7.20 per transfer.
Orbit Remit have now transferred their Philippine banking from BDO (1 other access point for cash pickup) to Metrobank and I think it is about 7 other outlets.
It has also gone from 2 days settlement to overnight.

PS. They do offer a cash back type thing for recommendations and that is not what I want.
