Watched a bit of the Collingwood game yesterday, only 20,000 people and they were done up like Eskimos. (Like Thais when the temperature plummets to 25c). Was not able to watch, but Cloke was back and they got a win.
Cats done over by Saints. Hawks a semi comfortable win over GWS, but not a bad effort down south in Tassie.
Roos lost, but better have a mid season lapse and be ready for the finals.
Tigers won and will start a late push. A bit late but that's what they do.

I returned to Oz after dsp cancellation to find out I'm no longer a resident. Eventually dsp got restarted now I'm a former resident and become resident after 2 yrs. I was told over phone I can leave twice a year for less than 13 wks and it wont affect 2yr residency date. She said any more could question it. I've learnt the hard way not to believe what c/l tell me on the phone and now always request a receipt no. of any conversation Are you still on DSP or converted to Age Pension?
Dunno your age, but you will be better off on the Age Pension if you have already reached 65.

Recently received notice of successful U.P. claim but I need to complete my "former resident" issue b4 its official. Any comunication I've had with them in the past would have a receipt no. provided on request, which refered to any phone conversation with them. This time they refuse to provide, twice. I'm concerned that C/L wont supply any paper work to confirm my success, therefore? Many of us have learned the hard way how much faith to put in their word or phone call. Any advice?

Give Welfare Rights a call Jesse, I think something like this they would fix fairly quickly.

[/b] And I keep telling you guy's to stop talking to them over the phone. If you cannot write a letter, go into their C/l office. Tell them you are deaf and need the answer in writing so you can give it to your lawyer . It is your right to have all information in writing .[/quote] I tried that. They said, "We don't do that."

It's hard to get anything in writing off of Centrelink now that is not a form letter covering all eventualities. All you can do is speak to them on the phone and ask for a receipt number for the call.

There are apps that record phone calls, but it means calling them on a damn mobile phone.
