Recently I changed my bank details to be paid directly to a bank account here in the Philippines. Fortunately it all went through okay on the first payment and I did not have to go through the stuff up's that Banjo experienced. My second payment is coming up but my online records show that I will be receiving a fortnights pay on 10/8/2016 and another fortnight pay on the 11/8/2016. My question is, even though they pay us on a 4 week cycle do they still show 2 fortnight pays in your online account? |

The online statement bears little resemblance to your actual payments once an overseas account comes into play. But no, it should show payments as 4 weekly. OK, mine looks like this today. Note that what's labeled as "last payment" is still 4 days away. I cannot progress any further by clicking on the link.  |

I wish they could just pay monthly instead of this 13 times a year nonsense. What do others think?

I wish they could just pay monthly instead of this 13 times a year nonsense. What do others think? You want 12 payments a year instead of 13??? I'll take a chance on the unlucky number.  Months are a different length so the way they even it out is to pay every 4 weeks. |

Months are a different length so the way they even it out is to pay every 4 weeks. It would make things easier giving that they are paying every 4 weeks already instead of fortnightly, All rent and bill's are over a month so would make things much easier for budgeting hehe, Would be nice but not nothing wrong with 13 payments if you have a bit saved to last you anyway. |

I'd say that paying 4 weekly instead of fortnightly would be an advantage in that it halves the transaction costs over a year.
It doesn't bother me, I draw out the same amount over the period of a month regardless of how I'm paid.
