Our member and regular contributor Chris has died in the Philippines leaving a wife and two young children.
From Facebook
Facebook family and friends, a friend, Chris Arrowsmith, died this past Friday in a terrible cycling accident, leaving behind his wife and two young children, 4 and 2. If you could spare a few dollars to help the family, it will certainly help them recover from their loss. Click on the YouCaring link below to find out how. A few people reported problems with Paypal. Be patient and it should work. I am the administrator of this fund raising and 100% of the funds (minus a paypal fee) will go to the family.
RIP Chris, thanks for your posts.

Unfortunately it's too late to make a donation to the family, the news is from Facebook and he was linked to one of our secondary accounts that did not give me alerts.

That's terribly sad news, especially having following his journey for securing his families future over these last few years. RIP Chris

That's very sad news. RIP
A warning to all about riding motorbikes/ bicycles in developing country dangerous driving conditions.
However, you can see on his wife's Facebook page that the last 7 years of his life seemed to be very happy, with his attractive young Filapina wife and family.
It also appears there that he obtained US passports (citizenship?) for his kids, and hopefully his wife and family will inherit whatever savings and assets he had.
Edit Banjo: Facebook link removed, I realise it's a public domain but if people want to look at his wife they can look it up themselves.

The information he gave me was that he had little of either.
I suspect that if they are going to need welfare in a western country then Australia would be a little better than the US.
