Gday
Borderline Personality Disorder is not what you want to be battling whilst seeking out a disability pension. In the last 8 months i have had almost have to do the job for centrelink, from organizing my own job capacity assessments to the latest medical assessment, now i have been waiting for the last month on a reply on how i went with the Medical Assessment?
I want to put the question out to those before me that have experience at what im going through, how long will i be waiting on a reply on my Medical Assessment and the be finally be given the go ahead with my pension. Also, back pay, will i receive it and if so, will it be 8 months worth of payments even though i have been on Newstart?
Thank You People

Welcome to the forum stormboy. Unfortunately it is a wait and see situation! Both for a decision on your pension and whether or not you will receive back pay. Going on others timelines you must be getting close to receiving an answer if you have been waiting a month already.
Cheers bear

If your DSP is granted backpayment would be from rhe application date minus newstart payments made A friend who has the medical assessment waited around 6-8 weeks for the decision.
