Do you think that if I have just been granted DSP that an UP application would do a new JCA?
I'm planning to request all my documents from my DSP claim and appeals before I make a decision but would like to be able to visit family for longer than 4 weeks in the future.

Logically not. If they have just done one it would seem like persecution to be asked to do another one within a tiny time frame. BUT as usual ?? I never had to do a JCA again when i finally won. It was about 5 years between last JCA and getting UP. But my case was unique to say the least in taking 8 years.

I think you would, if you were granted DSP on multiple impairments then you may not necessarily qualify for UP, they would want to take a second look to see if you had enough points in one disability.
