I think what shocked me the most was the amount of references to enabling the disabled to function in the same way as able bodied, that there don't need to be adjustments made... While I agree that for some disabled this is true for those on the panel... Making workplaces accessible, deaf and blind adjustments etc... But what about those who have chronic conditions and the adjustment needed is to hours. Those who need either partial or full DSP and have had to give up a career because no employee will touch them when they aren't reliable.

I would suggest opening a new thread so all our advice to you can be on one thread. And now you have all the reports they wanted is the time to start a new application. We can help with things like getting your last JCA, the impairment tables, what to include etc etc.

The thing that irritates me no end is that somehow the message comes across as "Everyone that is on Disability is on the NDIS".
1) Simply NOT true. Lots of DSP recipients aren't on the NDIS. 2) NDIS isn't even roll-out completely in Australia 3) NDIS is underfunded, understaffed and under enormous pressure.
And yet when we have a conversation about Disability , it always turns to a discussion on NDIS (and of course, making the disabled fully functioning again).
The whole "the Disabled will get all the support they need to be able to be self sufficient, working and contribution to society" is just a pathetic lie.
Age 45 to 54 – For people with disability the labour force participation rate is 57.2% (and the majority of disabled actually working are ACE and therefore are paid below minimum wage). For people without disability the labour force participation rate is 90.2%.

You really shouldn't do that mate. There is serious legal consequences for doing stuff like that and it's going to lead you to no good. Centrelink manager might have screwed you over but swearing a vendetta for the year sounds like you are setting yourself up for a really bad time. Neither does this person's family deserve whatever treatment you're envisioning. We want to be taken seriously by the public and you're threatening 'borderline war'. It's a bad look.
File a complaint and move on to doing things to benefit you not to hurt those who have wronged you.

A good late friend of mine, when I was going through my ordeal told me NEVER EVER swear at them as it only makes things worse. In 8 years I never did once. Almost a few times but remembered his words every time. Only a lack of vocab is why some people swear a lot. Baffle them with class words and you will beat them easily. I usually only swear to myself when my horse gets pipped in a photo. So yeah I also swear a fair bit. But not at other people.
