Hi everyone, this is my 2nd post so I'm still a newbie. Sorry if this question has already been answered somewhere on here.
Everyone was so helpful with my first question...
I was wondering if anyone knows a way of working part time or casually overseas for an entire 12 months while remaining on the DSP? Thank you all for your friendly and most helpful advice. Firefly

Glad to have been a help on your first post firefly . Banjo has given you the best advice on this latest question.....talk to Services Australia via Centrelink International Services(131673) They are the experts on all things overseas. I'm fairly sure they would have been mentioned in the other thread. If you are currently studying and working part time you may be able to get your wished for release overseas for twelve months and continue working; however if it was me, I would certainly be expecting extra scrutiny; both prior to leaving and whilst there. People overseas are required to be contactable to continue to receive their payments and to update their circumstances if they have changed. Personally I use the MyGov app rather than the Centrelink app. Failure to respond in the requested time, will see you high and dry in a strange land. Being overseas will certainly be no excuse for not complying with requirements. Cheers bear
