Starlink is now in the Philippines. This is a satellite internet system by SpaceX and it promises very fast speeds. The cost is ₱2,700/month for unlimited data plus a One-Time Hardware Cost of ₱29,320.
This could change life in the provinces where slow internet speeds can be frustrating.

I really appreciate Thailand, I pay about 750B ($30) a month for 500/500, unlimited data and they throw in the modem and cable connection.

They fitted me out (TOT) for free and only about 350 baht a month. And recently it was off for a day and I was told they were putting in optic fibre as the reason. Since then very few complaints. Drops out on occasion but connects again fast. (Touch wood. TIT).

I must have Scottish heritage I think, because I'll stick with my A $60/Bht 1500 per year AIS data SIM. 100 GB per month, 6g speed. No problems using as a hotspot to multiple devices and steaming content. Cheers 🐻

I have no idea what that is. Just spent a near fortune on the latest phone and it's only good for 5g.

You gotta love it ere in PI, 600 P gets you unlimited local calls and texts plus 8GB of data every month. This is with Smart telecommunications. Never ad a problem with them in the last 7 years. All prepaid aswel. I just load 1000 P everymonth which gets me my prepaid plan and enough for 1 decent international call. So about 27 Aussie dollars a month with no lock in. It's all-right to say the very least.
Cheers
