I'm sure many of you have accessed the above app in the past, today I did the same only to find out that it was de-activated. Trying to contact them was a chore, I was waiting half an hour or so. I explained my situation only to be told maybe I didn't inform them I was leaving Australia, so it stopped working, Cmon please!!!, That was over a year ago... Ma'am, I've been using it for more than a year why now? I've always been compliant and informed them about departures etc. I was transferred to and from one department to another with no success... Cheers Itsa Hope your day was better...

I've just signed straight in Itsa and the only thing that's different for me is explained by the attachment. Since you had no success and it's not working, go to the Play/Ios Store and see if it needs manually updating; or delete and reinstall it if that doesn't work as you'd have nothing to lose. They are the two methods I find I need to use from time to time. Cheers 🐻

I've always had trouble reporting departures from Australia - it's an easy two hour wait on the phone, I used to be able to do it online, after ten years I know the rules.
If it breaks during reporting time, or the three months to update my assets that will change >$2K in any one month period, I now type up a PDF, upload it via MyGov on the laptop and save the receipt.
There's a requirement to inform them of changes within a certain period, my view is that the uploading system in MyGov is exactly that, formal notification that can't be contested. If I pop into a Centrelink office (faster than the phone) and bring up why hasn't my request been dealt with, I usually get an apology.
Last week, when reporting my intended travel as it hadn't been processed (80 minutes on hold), they updated my shares from June that were in the PDF uploaded and I scored an extra $47 after the change was backdated to the upload date.
So if it's important, you don't want to be grilled for not reporting something, use MyGov - the reporting date and time is difficult to argue.
p.s. always include a phone number and invite direct contact if there is any queries.
