I think the tunnels have been imploded deliberately, personally..... What with cost of living, outrageous home prices and state of the rental market, plus the meteroic rise in immigration. The commentators are all full of themselves with how to fix it with wild and wonderful ideas from opposite ends of the spectrum and the origins of the combined current situation IMHO, lies at the feet of Howard and his bunch of cronies. Being cornered like a rat up a drain pipe has never really appealed anyhow...... Four legged rodents though, have the good sense to have a back door or two. Cheers 🐻 "Locked out of home ownership? I have a friend in Dublin and she says it’s the same there, rentals are expensive and almost impossible, loans to buy a house are the most difficult to qualify for, kids are living backwith parents. She says it’s a nightmare and no end in sight.

With the mention of tunnels Coober Pedy also came to mind for me. I wouldn't fancy living underground!

Argh I can't open any of the links in this thread. Guessing it is the ad blocker my son put on my laptop :/
What are the comments about the tunnels? Are they repurposing old tunnels for living quarters or have I imagined the totally wrong thing here?

It just went from there mspurple....... though I'm sure they'll definitely consider repurposing any unused tunnels if there's any money in it. We're just joshing; I think. Cheers 🐻

I didn't have any issues accessing either link with it. It could also be another issue like overly sensitive anti-virus or your browser's cache needing to be cleared out.

Could be any of those things I guess but I am having no issues with opening links on the site I use the most so I will leave it for now.
