I got this article from another site, CentrelinkLaw.com. www.smh.com.au/national/judges-tackle-centrelink-loophole-20101112-17r7q.htmlWendy Abraham, QC, for the Commonwealth, said there was no provision in the laws regulating welfare payments that a recipient must notify authorities of a change of circumstances, even though they were instructed to do so. But she said a crime was committed when someone obtained a payment they were not entitled to.

I think there could be some other C/L rules that are not law also, but they will never tell you about this.
