Yeah, well I flew to Singapore with Scoot last Monday from the Gold Coast and the flight was delayed by 6 hours. We just sat in the departure lounge. They apologized, but it was a frantic time making international phone calls and trying to access the internet from public terminals. We finally arrived in Singapore at 11pm (instead of 3 pm) and I had of course missed my connecting flight to Singapore. Had to stay the night in Singapore and spend another $122 for another flight to BKK the next day. There were more trivial irritating details but I'm too disgusted to go through them all. After I complained, Scoot sent me a $50 voucher which has to be used on THEIR airline by December 25.

Thats poor customer service,...$50 for a $122 flight . and a night in a hotel, doesnt end up a great bargain does it ? Guess it will take a while for them to get their shite together , and a few more planes.

Why travel Gold Coast to Singapore than connect to Bangkok when they got another flight Gold Coast Bangkok direct? Prices are really low. I had a friend who left ten days ago and went Gold Coast Singapore connect to Clark and return same way. He said the ticket was around $300 all in. He is back this weekend so I will check exactly what he did pay. I thought he meant Air Asia but he might have done it on Scoot.
