My blind poet mate had his random survey JCA interview today. They had only sent him a letter about this "Job Capacity Assessment" but oddly, I thought, no JCA Form to fill out in advance. The meeting was a breeze through, 30 minutes, couple of medical hello questions by a sweet young female Assessment Officer. She took a couple of notes and he went home. He will get a letter. So nothing stated nor committed, which obviously they are not going to do at the JCA meeting itself (for fear of adverse dangerous reactions).
Anyway, this all bodes well for us "getting on" multi-ailment DSP types . . . BUT LET US SEE THE LETTER NEXT WEEK. IT COULD SAY ANYTHING. The point of interest here is just how they can back out of having tortured a person mentally for weeks and not give him DSP tenure now in writing. The letter should confirm his chronic terminal conditions and tell him he will not be reviewed again.
What are your bets it does not? I'll book 30 to 1 he is referred to a DES agency. 5 to 1 it just says his review was completed satisfactorily. Result forthcoming.

The Poet is 53, been on DSP since 97, has cirrhosis, macular degeneration bad, hypomania, blah blah . . . no more looks like he could "work" for anyone than a rotting beached whale. He is literate though. He can talk English proper, unlike most today. Even CL are not corrupt nor ignorant enough to screw him around, I would think, despite their cruel puppeteering.
