I have been told, anecdotaly, that the Commonwealth Ombudsman has over 120,000 complaints to deal with DSP people...

That frankly surprises me as they made it very plain to me that they were reluctant to deal with customer complaints about Centrelink. Thank you for your email of 28 January 2012 in which you complain about Centrelink investigating your Australian residency on 3 separate occasions.
We usually do not investigate a complaint until it has been raised with the agency involved. This gives the agency an opportunity to solve the matter first. We have found that this is usually a more efficient way of resolving a complaint.
It appears from your email that you have not raised your complaint with Centrelink’s Customer Relations Unit (CRU) so I suggest that you do so first. The contact details are:

that's why i posted what i did above.....

i appreciate your comments.
and i tried to go near c/l today on a procedural matter....
When you establish that the front desk person is saying "go sit in the corner till you are called" and even though you ask the front desk for people to hold up a sign....naaa ....what the f*ck do they care.....
I just walk out the door....
