Is it worth a try?
Just sent this into the Jenny Macklin email void. ;D
Dear Ms Macklin,
I refer to the the proposed changes in the Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs and Other Legislation Amendment (Budget and Other Measures) Bill 2010 (Changes to Disability Support Pension).
As the Bill intends that DSP recipients may no longer live overseas, as they have done legally, but apparently against the spirit of the act, in the past it appears that several hundred Australians will have to relocate to Australia.
As they were not in breach of Australian law it would not be unreasonable to request that government funding be made available to assist in their relocation. I know a number, but I suggest all, who would suffer considerable financial hardship in this procedure.
I’d be more than willing to assist with the costing of this, using a number of submissions from potentially affected parties.
May I take this opportunity to wish you and your family the compliments of the season,
Best wishes,
Banjo

I doubt it, if you're in Australia it'sbest to write by snail mail anyway, I think they take a bit more notice.
