I don't think they have an agreement with Hong Kong. I am currently suspended but can get back on due to the one/two year rule of finding work?
So I need to tell them when I have stopped working? When do I notify them before going overseas?

When do I notify them before going overseas? I doubt you would be allowed to stay in Hong Kong for 6 months, and still be paid. Yes, you need to tell them when you have stopped working. Not sure when you have to advise them of your planned trip, someone else might be able to answer that question. Again, at lot will depend on a new work capacity assessment by then. It could free you up, or tie you down. Depends on the result. Let us know how easy it is to get back onto DSP, after trying to work, if you have the time. Thanks.

OK, if it's your first trip overseas since you have been on the DSP there's probably no reason why you can't go for 13 weeks as long as you go before the end of the year. You can stay for 26 weeks but you will only be paid for 13. After that (1st Jan 2013) you get a max of 6 weeks. You need to ring up Centrelink International and run it past them, it's no good buying your ticket then asking them, as spacey says we are living in trying times.
