No point complaining to a politician, aren't they the ones who decide how long our leashes are? Centrelink staff just enjoy swinging the axes. Thanks anotherdsp.

They have been targeting me and mine since I worked out the disability employment agency was fixing people's JCA results, back in 2010. Been tying to drive me crazy ever since, hoping I will forget about it, or learn not to make waves. Think I have learned my lesson now. Which is why I would rather live in the streets or my car, far away from having to play their games. Might get a shopping trolley to push around, and a sign saying the End is Nigh! Repent! I will make sure I make my speeches about evil and retribution out the front of Centrelink offices.

spacey, Get your bum over here mate. Maybe. If I had any faith in anything at the moment, I would apply to reactivate my passport, ready for once I had cleaned out my unit. But since I don't, I guess I will wait until I can trust again. Maybe on Friday when I get paid and get some ciggies I might be able to use my head again. At the moment, it is just all dead inside me. Thinking maybe I might just go walking around the outback. They say that can be a healing experience. I need to find the meaning of life, because Centrelink made me forget what it was, and loose my way. No faith in records which can be changed constantly, to suit whatever game is being played against you on any given day, no matter how much I would like to go back to being innocent and naive.

Hi Spacey, Get out in the sun a bit....it will lift your mood. We don't get enough of it during Winter. Perhaps it is for the best if your son stays elsewhere....a change of people will be good for him. Hopefully it's up North....? I do sympathize....I myself am feeling emotionally down right now as I put a huge amount of effort into starting work but haven't got much work in the last few weeks. I'm employed as a casual. Take care of yourself.....try to not go into meltdown. And remember...Springtime will make us all feel so much better.

Thanks guys. I stopped contact with my friends in this town about a month ago, so thanks for giving me comfort and support when I had no where else to turn. I am trusting no one at the moment. Many games have been played against me, over the net and in real life. I think the government was behind more than a few of them. The only reason I am still sane right now, is that they could not break me, no matter how hard they tried.
I just need to find somewhere now to recover from it all, and not having son with me makes it easier for me to do stuff for myself. Also, he is with people who can afford to support him, so it no longer matters if he gets the DSP or not. C/L are already threatening to cut him off before his next payment, unless he can prove that he has been looking for work. The fact that he has a DSP application, with all its medical records, awaiting hearing at the SSAT seems to have been overlooked. Also the fact that he was recently awarded a year long exemption from looking for work, in leiu of the DSP.
The pressure is off me now, for a bit. Hopefully I will feel better soon. Hugs to all of you wonderful people, and high praise for the forum we created to help each other get through Centrelink bullshit and assaults on our health and our lives. XOXO

Not having your son in tow means it is easier to find a man (who hopefully will look after you and provide support).

Centrelink stinks again !
I phoned Centrelink yesterday as they did not receive my Rent Certificate and say they will cut off my rent assistance soon. The phone service told me they were receiving a high volume of calls (surprise surprise) and that the expected wait was in excess of 45 minutes. As I was standing at a public phone (no landline at home), I had to hang up. However I was not given the option of having them call me back on my mobile, which is a function they brought in last year. Have they discontinued this as a cost-cutting measure ?? Now I'll have to go and stand in line at an office. Messaging them on the internet is useless....
And I tried to report my income online last night but the service was malfunctioning.
