I did get my pension cancelled for staying overseas too long. I read on the cl website that there is such as thing as 're-claim', where you can apply to have your pension reinstated, if the time since cancelled is less than 52 weeks.
Does anyone have any experience of this?

My knowledge of the law is that you lose your payments if you don't return after 13 weeks. The DSP is reinstated any time you return in that period. At the end of this 26 week period you lose the pension. When you return you can apply for NewStart which will usually granted straight away. You then submit an application for the DSP. This can take several months. Could you supply a link for the 52 week information?

Welcome to the forum.
First of all settle down and try to relax, take a few deep breaths.
You do not have to tell anyone on the forum what you medical problem is, that is entirely up to you.
I will email a link for you to get back into the forum, if you have any trouble with that just email me back.
Cheers Banker
