I know the time I can spend overseas has been reduced to 6 weeks. But was wondering how many times a year or how often I can travel overseas.

i think u mite be able to get 3 trips a year before they try the residencey issue ive applied for unlimited portability and am currently waiting to hear back from them but im flying out on may 20 and centerlink know this and when i called them back they said i should no in mid june if its approved or dissaproved so if u think u can pass 20 points in one table for i disability and get 0-7 hours with no future work capacity then u can stay overseas permanently without any hassels from centerlink

NP, tiredman, welcome to the board. You have some good info but keep in mind it's still very much a learning curve, basically we have no idea.
My letter to the minister on this very subject is still unanswered or even acknowledged after 3 weeks.
