I'm in a small pickle housing-wise (not quite on the street yet, but not far from it) so if anyone's got tips on getting housing as a DSPer, I'd really appreciate it.
No matter how hard I look, I can't find anywhere I could afford within a semi-reasonable (3 hour drive each way) distance from my medical team in Sydney, so I'm going to have to apply for the private rental subsidy they do here in NSW for disabled homeless people, at least according to the internet.
Oh yeah, and I have no job, a cat, no recent rental references, no work references for a decade... can't imagine any landlord who's going to want to rent to me, even if I'm getting financial assistance to help...
