Mind + Body Initiative Did you know people with mental illness have far poorer physical health too?
Rates of heart disease, diabetes, and other conditions are much higher than the general population.Physical health is especially important for people living with a mental illness, as research shows they are at a higher risk of physical health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and obesity. For people affected by physical health conditions, there are higher rates of mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. www.sane.org/projects/mind-body

I'll vouch for that banjo as I had bypass surgery which led me to depressive anxiety a lethal combination. Our friends at centrelink obviously don't think that they are interconnected thereby having two separate tables to make it more difficult for people to obtain 20 points on one table and not be eligible for IP. It makes one wonder whose interests the government have at heart theirs or the welfare of the people who they purport to represent. To them people are just statistics everything is based on percentages. I'll leave it at that before I incriminate myself.
