So after sending emails over and over again with no reply or with some very general useless reply here's what got now:

I asked very specifically where they stand in regards to portability, made some suggestions.
Finger cross they will support our request (not holding my breath though)

It doesn’t really apply to me at this point of time, but good you finally got a decent response from them. Hopefully they make a decision and write back on where they stand in regards to portability.
