To the best of my knowledge this is the only time Australian Pensioners have held a demonstration. Can any one remember another time?

TV personality John Burgess has taken up the fight to increase OAP. He has challenged Jooliar to meet with him to discuss the difficulties of trying to live on such a meager amount.

I didn't catch the whole segment, but I think he said they are forced to live on $12 per day.
