A lot of guys have been writing to their MPs and the Ministers which is great. Some of you may not have written a letter in years and are unsure how to go about it. I sent this off to Bill Shorten, Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and Children's Services, today, feel free to copy it or add your own comments.
(Your name and Address here) Dear Mr Shorten, I am writing to express my concerns on the projected changes to the Disability Support Pension that will come into force next year.
My particular field of concern is the amount of time that pensioners can spend outside of Australia. I fail to see how this incurs any extra cost to the taxpayer, in fact savings due to the traveler not claiming benefits like rent allowance are obviously apparent.
I would be obliged if you could inform me as soon as possible of what the changes may be, particularly in regard to pensioners traveling outside of Australia.
Regards

Like I said Banjo a "Pensioners Party" and/or an organised united lobby group with an elected spokesperson is the answer. You said previously that its too difficult to get consensus, well every political party finds that difficult but it shouldn't stop us. "Dare to struggle dare to win"!
