aus027gr-1402.pdf (758.87 KB) I stumbled across this form that is to be filled out when applying for proof of AWLR, I have been wondering for a while how it was to be done. There are some interesting questions in the form, one which surprises me is where they ask for someone who is not a relative to provide proof of knowing you, or something similar. I would have thought that big brother has enough information on us to give us the information rather than the other way round. In particular where I mentioned in another thread where I went to the NSW roads department for a transfer of licence from Queensland and they brought up information on me from 23 years previous. Anyway, just putting it out there. Have a good Anzac day tomorrow people, I cant find any dawn service happening here in the Philippines, I will have to have my own. Cheers

Sounds a bit like when you apply for a passport -- someone not a relative, who's known you X years must state it's you. It's a hangover from before everything went digital, something that should come off the form but won't for another decade or so.

Interesting that the second language offered is Greek. Personally it's the first I've heard of this and as an immigrant I would have thought they would have sent me one. Maybe they had already checked...
