CONTROL of pensioner concessions should be given to the Federal Government, the Council on the Ageing says. Council chief executive Ian Yates told The Advertiser the State Government had shown it was unable to properly manage the concessions and they should be removed from the decision process. "The State Government has not been sympathetic to the plight of pensioners and that is why we feel this is necessary," he said.
