It’s 2am and I’m trying to work out how much age pension I get when I’m out of the country for more than six weeks. I can’t work it out. I’d like to go for 12 weeks. I know I get the full rate for the first six and then it drops. Can anyone please tell me, I can’t work it out. In fact, I can’t even get out of the country, but I’ll be ready.

Good on you ann !! I can't tell you how much I lose; but I can show you how much I receive. I was checking for a member recently and got a pleasant surprise. I'd been thinking it had been $860.40 Not sure what's gone on over the Covid period when we weren't supposed to get our twice yearly increases but my deposits show three increases this year to this current amount. The decrease used to be Nearly Exactly (how Aussie is that) $100!! How does that tally up with the current payment? See attachment; cheers bear

Thanks so much Bear. I thought it might be about $600 but that’s a doable amount for me. Thanks again
