Just read that in December AirasiaX will begin direct flights between SYD & BKK & MEL & BKK. Selling now for A$299.00 one way. Great stuff if stay at those prices.

Wow that's cheap! Do you have to have a outbound ticket upon arrival? Cheers J As bear said, in theory, but many times I have arrived without one with not a word said anywhere, Even when I only had a tourist visa years ago. |

Well, I'm finally going nomadic again soon. Will join bear in oz before via Laos on the way back. But airfares are horrendous now. Thai economy is almost the same as a business class prior to COVID. So going with Cathay at double what I have ever paid for any flight to oz before. Even no service Jetstar is almost the same. I guess I'm lucky to be able to afford it.
