hi l am on the DSP and thinking of doing a TAFE course in cooking or hospitality, l think its 2 days a week , would would be able to get either free or low course fees with my pension concession card, would l need to tell centrlink and would it affect my DSP

Google search:- dsp and tafe courses. This will show that the different states have differing rules for people on DSP undertaking Tafe study with them. Bunyip it's a good thing to tell them because I think you will get PES once you start your course. (Pensioner Education Supplement) An extra $62.40 a fortnight.

And your concession card can result in discounted fees and I think I got a lump sum for text books etc for a course I took. You can keep claiming it as long as the next course is higher then one you have previously studied, so it's a great way to skill up and meet new people too.

You have to apply for pensioner education supplement its not much $63 a fortnight or there abouts
