My neighbour took my bin and I asked for it back but first they denied it and I showed them the footage. They gave the bin back and smacked the bin and then said you want problems I will give you problems.
I felt scared and threatened.
I called police and showed them the video footage as well. They didn't press charges and did nothing.
I told them if someone smacked your desk wouldn't you be scared. And they didn't say anything.
I am feeling so scared and worried about my neighbour and police won't do a thing. Can't he be charged with something.
The police said it's not enough evidence.

Unfortunately quantumranger that is what the world has become! I know this isn't what you'll want to hear but it's the way it is... Until threats become actions the police won't become actively involved.... In saying that, by calling them every time there's an issue; if they're doing their job correctly there should be a file on your reports and concerns. Stay safe by distancing yourself as far as practicable possible from those particular neighbours and tell any neighbours you may have passing friendly relationship with about the issue and your concerns for your safety... Cheers 🐻

Beef up your security system. Keep records of any interactions. That's all I can say.

I empathize with what you're going through mate, it's uncalled for no one should be subjected to that type of nonsense. I'm preparing for something similar here in the Pines.
We got new neighbours who moved in beside us recently. Already they are starting to take liberties, moving our trash bin, putting their trash in our bin.Having late night partys with loud music, visitors parking outside our house etc , bear in mind we have a small Sari Sari store, anything like that impacts on our business...
Best Wishes Itsa

My mate recently had to move because of horrid neighbours. No idea of the culture where you are itsa but things can turn deadly here when a conflict and even more so when it's a foreigner against a local. Seems to be a worldwide problem.

I myself have never ever had such problems here in PI.
The best thing you can do if the situation escalates is to talk it out with your Barangay Captain. They will resolve the problem at hand straight away.
