Why are these people protected? There names and pictures should be in print also, just like they do with the people committing fraud against Centrelink.

Interesting......I wonder who he was mostly benefiting ?
"accessing records belonging to customers and co-workers on 124 separate occasions, and misusing the agency’s IT systems to benefit the people concerned". He may have actually helped customers, or co-workers....or both. Hmmmm.....if he was accessing co-workers records, how could he have been helping them, unless he was in a high position and able to change data that they could not ? It sounds like he was a loose cannon and decided his judgement was better than other peoples'.

They seem to have a lot of "Loose Canons" at Centrelink. 197 for the financial year 2010-2011 and that's just the ones that were caught. For staff to release personal details about a C/L customer is a very serious offense and should be dealt with as such, like printing their name & pictures in the news media.
