A HERVEY Bay woman called 000 yesterday and declared that "Centrelink is going to get bombed!" She was later hauled into the police station for questioning. The 63-year-old woman called the emergency telephone number about 2pm and sent Hervey Bay police springing to action. Three crews were dispatched to the Centrelink office on Hunter St, Pialba, and one to the caller's Urangan home. Police began procedures to evacuate Centrelink staff members while the other officers questioned the caller about her threats. Once it was established the threats were a hoax, police were able to call off their evacuation. They estimated that the Centrelink branch had between 15 and 20 staff members working yesterday. The caller was taken in to the police station for questioning. A motive for her actions and any connection she has with Centrelink was not known. Police told the Chronicle they were expecting to charge her last night for misusing the 000 emergency phone line. goo.gl/CKcNQ

Sadly Banker I would not be suprised if this type of thing did happen in the future. Too many people are being driven to the brink of despair and are at there wits end.
