Would anyone like to guess how long it takes to receive a reply/decission to Indef Port app. Applied ten wks ago, had JCA 3wks ago. Hi Jessemojo4 I would suggest it could take as long as six months depending on the number of applications before CLINK . That's how long it took for my case to be processed . I went through SSAT , and was in the process of applying to the AAT , when I was made an offer which I couldn't refuse . Go through your application with a fine tooth comb, get someone to play the devils advocate , Leave no stone unturned .. Sorry for all the puns , but trust me its worth it in the end. I wish you the very best. Regards Itsa

Yes they can its, it also called the fob off. They try to wear you down to give up. Jesse, try the international number or probably even better to wipe off most of the day by going to an office. Time consuming to say thhe least but at least you see the person and get their name. Hang in there.

Those of us that applied early, as in after the legislation changed, got a reasonably quick decision, three months may have even been a bit long. Then there was a stampede, people realised that successful assessments were not going to be totally unrealistic and jumped on the band wagon so the results took longer.
If I looked at the dynamic of current applications I would suspect that most of them would be made within a year of the person getting the DSP, resulting in a steady flow handled by more experienced assessors.

Just checking the timeline of my new DSP application under the 2012 tables 1. DSP application lodged June 29th 2014 2. JCA appoinment in August 2014. 3. Grant of DSP and approval of UP on 16th December 2014. Mine was therefore 5 months from lodgement to granting of UP. I asked for and was given a letter advising of my ongoing UP. I advise anyone who has been granted to request a similar letter, basing that request on the requirement for visa application.
