Good for you Banjo, you can relax now knowing that you are fully protected. Yeah, it is a peculiar vax for whatever reason I think it may be down to the individual if they have any comorbidities and the severity of them. My sister who lives overseas had the (AZ) vax and had a bad reaction shakes headache fever and so on, but she is prone to over-exaggeration the poor wee soul . Cheers Itsa My oncologist, who I see every four months now, actually missed my last appointment because he had a week off work with a bad reaction to his AZ jab. Seems like some have a worse reaction than others.

Itsa and me, because it's well over and above my pay grade. Just looking at the pictures gives me brain fog. A lingering effect from vaccination maybe!! Cheers bear I'm a bit of a wordsmith myself but Comorbidity is a new one on me.

A quick walk through to obtaining "Yellow International Vaccination" travel book in Chiang Mai.
Copies needed:- Signed Passport Info page and Vaccine certificate. Copy facilities aren't available onsite at Nokornping Health/TB Clinic where you apply. 3rd Floor of Pantip Plaza can help you out though and just down the road.
Go to Nakornping, take queue ticket, when called present original documents along with signed copies. Note:- A signed copy equates to certified copy. It's mainly to check signatures. You'll then be given two further documents to fill in. One will become your authorization to pick up the book. The other (yellow card) reiterates personal info on one side and travel intentions on the other.
Travel intentions:- To which country, when, regions intended to visit i.e. Rural, Cities, above 8,000 feet; will there be insects, where will you be staying (general info). Booking not required. The bottom of this card is for a doctor to either authorize or deny your application. Cost Bht 50 on pickup.
There is also an application centre out at Hang Dong, who have run out of booklets currently. I'll be returning to Nakornping Health on 15 October and will advise the result here. Cheers bear

I had AZ without issues... although it looks possible I may fall into the 'immune compromised' category that are recommended to have a third shot to have the same level of coverage as most get with 2.

Cheers bear A successful thoroughly Thai experience today. Go to room '1' to check all is in order and get red stamp allowing pickup of book. Go to room '10' to pay 50 baht for book, then onwards to room 6; which unsurprisingly isn't in numerical order up and down the corridor but outside around the corner. Show pick up authorization slip, receipt, and passport to receive your 'International Travel Document', 'International Vaccination Book' to be used when travelling; which isn't very international at all, with a distinct lack of the word, and also sans the UN global crest on the cover. There is though, quite very lovely Garuda image resplendent in place of it!! There are also two totally blank pages giving room for eight more jab entries. To cap off quite a successful day, the MoPH IT team have done themselves proud with the latest iteration of their Mor Phrom app which now works as it should by finally accepting all of my information and creating a stand alone digital certificate within the app. No more scanning QR codes. So 'Papers please sir' should all be in order in myriad form; cheers bear

But yes as a matter of fact, I've almost finished my meagre ration of one Large Chang, ready for shower and sleep. Cheers bear

I'll get the other half to ring her mate at the hospital I got done in next week, I've been offered a car trip to Bangkok next month, it may come in handy.

Handy for washing the dog, there's not a tick in Asia can cope with close proximity to Chang. Lucky I'm not a dog with a tick infestation then....... No headaches; headaches from everything else except Blend 285, but haven't been drinking any type of whiskey since my escape from Lao Kao Central in Phrae Province. Surprisingly no headaches from that either!! Always still up early, bright eyed and bushy tailed; just with no recollection of walking across the road home, falling down breaking the water entry pipe and several other similar miscellaneous misadventures. Do I miss it?? NOOOO, not in the slightest!! Cheers bear

Back on topic, sort of..... Confusion still appears to reign supreme, in what is what vaccine wise. One says this, the other say that. Cheers bear France : Moderna banned from third dose
"A key FDA advisory committee unanimously recommended Thursday giving booster shots of Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine to people ages 65 and older and other vulnerable Americans."

Possibly a lack of class that I had never realised either. Or maybe to save a baht or 3?
