I went down the local Makro, a wholesaler, yesterday to get a couple of things and came away with some packs of frozen pastry sheets. I can cook most stuff but have never been much of a baker, I suppose ready made pastry will be a start. They're only 150x150 so I need to look around for a little pie dish. I've got colitis from my radiotherapy so I'm a bit limited... no onions, most greens etc. You could also stick some of the sheets together to make them larger if you wanted. A line of water run down the side of the defrosted pastry sheet and another sheet placed to overlap the wet part then press them together to make the desired size sheet of pastry.
