Actually, Rachel Siewert would be interested.

The Centrelink office said it first but was re-iterated by the Complaints line that said the same thing.

Actually, Rachel Siewert would be interested. You'd think so wouldn't you?

Update: Centrelink - "The only way we can change your support stream back to the ESS (regular, ongoing support) from the DMS (occasional short term support) is to do another Job Capacity Assessment". Yes, that's correct folks. After being on DSP for all of two weeks to put me back on the support I had with the provider I have been working with for 2 years, I have to do ANOTHER JCA (and run the risk of cancellation of my DSP). If its just to access a provider they should be doing an ESA Employment Services Assessment not a JCA since those ESAs also assess work capacity.

I actually asked about a ESaT instead of a JCA and was told; "ESaT's are not used for people on Disability, you can have a JCA but not yet because you've only just had one done"

I don't do Facebook/Twitter/SnapChat etc. With a vision impairment I have to be limit my "reading" stuff. So I choose to be selective. The message I'm getting from Centrelink is: "'We' can't change your stream back to the one that you have been on for three years. You are, of course, welcome to do a DES voluntarily and look for work under the new stream". -The new stream isn't going to give me the support I need to maintain that employment. "Sorry about that but there is nothing "we" can do". -Isn't "we" Centrelink? "Yes" -So Centrelink that made this decision, can't change the decision that Centrelink made? "Yes, "we" can't change it. You are welcome to appeal the decision." -And put the granting of my Disability on the line to get the support I need? "Yes, exactly." So that's where I am up to at the moment. They said they will ring back ...... hmmmmmm

You're banging your ahead against a brick wall dealing with Centrelink.
Your only options are MPs, media, contacting Hank, ombudsman.

ESaTs are used for people on Disability. I have had them in the past. ESAT's assess work capacity but do not review your DSP eligibility.

Good advice murphy on the above only that I tried all of them and it was also brick wall. Now ten years later and I am still hounding media and ombudsman without any success at all. Only a good lawyer will end Krystals saga for sure. But i would also advise her to hound everybody you can. Try ABC 7.30 report.

So they promised to ring me back. Which they did but I missed the call. Gave Centrelink yet another call to see what they were telephoning me about and was told:
"The telephone call was to inform you that you can exit from the DES provider and then ring Dept of Employment to change Providers".
Of course I asked how does this fix that I am on the wrong support stream. Changing providers doesn't change my stream, I just get yet another provider that won't give me the support I need to maintain employment.
"Can't help you with that - will have to transfer you"
Someone else answers. Explain the story to the 7th person. This person was a little more forthcoming.
"The people that make this type of decision are NOT employees of Centrelink which is why Centrelink, Dept of Employment or the DES provider can't change you back to my original stream".
The people that make these decisions (the granting of DSP/What Employment Stream you are on/What Mutual Obligations you have etc etc etc) are a part of "Assessment Services" and all of these decisions/implementations are now outsourced to a government contracted private provider contracted by the Department of Human Services (Assessment Services and Smart Centres Coordination – Robert Williams, National Manager) .
"I have emailed them (the outside contractor) with all the relevant information and questions and if you don't hear anything in 2 weeks, give us a call back".
