I think a few of us will be finding out just how much wiggle room there is in the appeals systems this year. Yes, it would seem that way. I feel very fortunate not to be caught up in this 13 week rubbish. Problem is, they'll move on looking for more and more "savings", affecting more and more people that really don't need the aggro. Cheers.

Hi all I am from New Zealand and am lucky that I am in the process of getting dsp here in Aus. I tried to get it over in NZ but was told that my disabilities did not meet there requirements. Because center link has yet to mess me around. I am happy with them but have read story's of them being mean. I am not sure how the Government thinks some one that can't work can live off just over $350 a week. I am Still on new start and am living at my dads place due to the very low amount you get on new start. I am living in Brisbane I found this site when I was on the lonley planet site as I want to do some traveling when I'm on the dsp.

Thanks for the tip about not telling them my travel plans. I think I had a harder time over in NZ because the two doctors I went to was less understanding and did not know much about my disabilities. Yes I to think AUS is just as tough but so far I have not need to jump the hoops as much and it looks like I will be finally be on dsp soon. I will let you guys/ladies know more when I find out.

I was going to put my War story here but because of one of my disability its difficult for me to type. I have Dragon 9 on my computer but now I cant get it to work. Im hoping to be able to pick up a new copy in town today.
I have a friend in Australia that has been totally screwed over by C/L so I will also be putting his story and result on here for all to read.
Please stay tuned.
Cheers Banker

Hi to everybody, Banjo got me into this mess from another page. My war story with CL was brief but stressful. Eighteen months ago i returned from LOS to be greeted by a message from CL that my pension was about to be cancelled. So i popped into the Caboolture SEQ branch for a nice little chat..................however, reduced nearly to tears i was virtually told to 'cop it'. After talking to others i made contact with a decent sort of a joker working at the Overseas Pensions office in Adelaide, told him my story and believe it or not ! he said .....quote Don't take any notice of those amature wankers at your local centrelink, they are only capable of dealing with likewise dropkicks. Then he took my particulars and phone number and called me back in 2 hrs. You are now a registered overseas recipient said he, and will get an ongoing pension less med and phone allowances. I have just returned from LOS to renew my visa after 14 mths., having had no more troubles with my pension.
